Salafi development isn’t merely as a religious sect in Indonesia, but the presence of its followers in the public space is often assessed to deviate from common practice, because they are often involved in the battle and the war under the "flag of jihad." Inevitably, conflicts nuanced religion erupted in eastern Indonesia in the last decade of the 20th century, became their main stage, and after that they metamorphosed into an exclusive and autonomous groups-with all its variants-and occasionally spread terror in the form of suicide bombings and the like.
