In the modern conditions of the rapid development of the information society and the media, journalistic education should contribute to the professional development of the student and the formation of a highly qualified, competitive multimedia specialist with clear knowledge, skills and abilities. In the subject descriptions of specialized courses, educational program Sports journalism the purpose of the taught subject, the tasks set, methods of organizing the learning process and expected final results are presented. Based on the needs of the labor market in the framework of the formation of theoretical and especially practical competencies in the educational program of the department Sports Journalism The State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Armenia (GIFCSA) reviewed the content of the subjects studied, the number of hours allotted, and the names of the subjects.
