The article under study deals with the analysis of Urdu researches being conducted in Pakistani Universities. Urdu research seems failed to present a uniform design so far. Each and every researcher is following his own style and design. No uniformity or systematism is seen in dissertations produced by Urdu departments. Every dissertation is different from others with respect to chaptalization, analysis, presentation of findings and conclusion. This research scenario puts a question mark to the quality and impact of these researches. These points have been discussed in the light of the findings from the theses of selected renowned universities of Pakistan and recommendations have been presented.
