The author examines new concepts (structural and complex sciences) introduced into the theory of philosophical classification of sciences in the recent decades. We got used to speak about cycles of sciences - natural, social and humanities, about applied sciences (medical, agricultural, technical, etc.). We already know that in LBC the class of general scientific and interdisciplinary knowledge is developed. The author attempts to connect in uniform the system terms and concepts - known, already traditional, with new, offered recently, and to show how to use them in the Library and Bibliographic Classification (LBC).
