The experience of using IRBIS64 functionality for designing a database and developing technology of regulatory documents storage and update at the Research Medical Library of Siberian State Medical University is examined. The preparatory steps are described; the so-called archival flow of quality management documents is analyzed. The operating stages for special module intended specifically for the institutional current document flow are revealed.
