Assay of contemporary structure and age composition of population in the areas of the country desig-nated as ones of the most intensive radiological contamination after the Chornobyl NPP accident.Study object. Population of the most intensively contaminated areas of Ukraine, i.e. Korosten, Narodychi, Ovruchand Olevsk regions of Zhytomyr oblast, Ivankiv and Poliske regions of Kyiv oblast, Rokytne and Sarny regions of Rivneoblast, Kozelets and Ripky regions of Chernihiv oblast. Entire population of Ukraine was the control.
