In myastheniagravis (MG) patients, heart muscle is one of theautoimmune targets. The presentation of cardiac involvement withMG varies and may include myocarditis. Beyond comprehensiveleft ventricular volume and ejection fraction quantification, cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) provides incomparablenon-invasive tissue characterisation. Hence, CMR in MG may allowearly detection of subclinical myocarditis or evaluation of remotemyocardial damage by late gadolinium enhancement technique.Wepresent the first case of cardiac involvement of immune-mediatedmyocarditis imaged by CMR in MG.
