This prospective observational study was conducted on 242 patients with clomiphene citrate (CC) resistantpolycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) who were allocated into two regimens of induction of ovulation, the firstgroup(n=128) received both CC and tamoxifen and the second (n=114) received letrozole. The ovulationrate, endometrial thickness, number of dominant follicles, pregnancy rate, miscarriage rate and live birthrate were found comparable between the two groups.
