Hyponatremia is one of the most common electrolyte disturbancesin hospitalised children, which can potentially cause significantmorbidity and mortality. We reviewed the causes of severehyponatremia (Na+ < 125 mmol/L) over the last ten years (2006-2016) in the neonatal unit and the paediatric unit (<16-year-olds)at Norfolk and Norwich university hospital.
