The authors report a case of benign thoracic schwannoma developed from the intercostal nerve in a young adult discoverduring a random chest pain examination, with the common analgesics having no effect on that. The radiographic imageshows a parietal mass on the right side. The Schwannoma’s diagnosis must be suspected in front of any subcutaneoustumor of the thorax. The accuracy of the diagnostic is histological. The total resection is the only guarantee of a completerecovery without recurrence.
