Climate change has become a proven fact. Long droughts lead tofires. So the forests of America, Siberia, the Amazon burn. On thecontrary, deserts, in which there is usually no moisture, receiveenhanced portions of rainfall, in the form of rain, snowfall, whichnegatively affects the desert biota. Glaciers are melting, the levelof the oceans is rising.
