Al-Maqasid At-TAhseeniyya are those things which perfects the Ummah so that it will have a joyful outlook in the eyes of other nations. The Islam of Umar was a glory to the Muslims and his Caliphate was an opportunity for the expansion of the Islamic state because there were many conquests and the Muslims lived in safety and delight. Umar was concerned about those things that perfect the Ummah thus, he used to enjoin people to be humble, moral, avoid extravagance, neat, complete their ablution and respect themselves. He was one of those who were exemplary in kindness to people.

المقاصد التحسينية في خلافة عمر رضي الله عنه المقاصد التحسينية هي التي يكون بها كمال الأمة حتى يكون لها بهجةمنظر في مرأى بقية الأمم. كان اسلام عمر بن الخطاب عزة للمسلمين وكانت خلافته فرصة لاتساع الدولة الإسلامية حيث كثرت الفتوحات وعم الأمن والبهجة للمؤمنين. لقد راعى عمر رضي الله عنه التحسينات فكان يأمر الناس بالتواضع وحسن الخلق وعدم التبذير والنظافة وإسباغ الوضوء, واحترام المسلم نفسه وكان ممن يضرب بهم المثل في الإحسان إلى الناس رضي الله عنه.
