The current research aims at identifying the role of managerial leadership skills (mental / intellectual skills, human skills, and managerial skills) in enhancing functional commitment (emotional / emotional commitment, normative commitment, continuous commitment) Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. To achieve the goal, a questionnaire was constructed consisting of (30) question distributed to a sample of (39) single and was returned (30) form were all valid for analysis. The research found a relationship between the skills of the administrative leadership and the enhancement of the functional commitment, and the impact of the skills of the administrative leadership in enhancing the functional commitment. Accordingly, the research presented a set of recommendations and proposals, the most important of which is the need to increase attention to management skills to encourage and strengthen them In particular, the results of the field research showed the high level of these skills in the organization in question
