The article overviews the development of legislative and executive framework for CBC in the Slovak-Ukrainian borderlands. Subsequently, it summarises the findings of research on the perceptions of local CBC actors regarding migration and social interaction, barriers to CBC, assessment of CBC policies, expected impacts of CBC and the implementation of the Association Agreement of EU with Ukraine.
