There are researches has been carried out on real objects (crude oils with a high content of paraffins, asphaltenes, naphthenes and resins) in order to determine the correctness and boundary conditions for the applicability of the gas chromatographic vapor-phase method for determining the concentration of organic chlorides in crude oil for performing in-line analysis. The application of this technique, regardless of the type and composition of crude oil, will make it possible to quickly determine the presence of organic chlorides in crude oil, which, in turn, prevents contaminated oil from entering pipelines and refineries.
