The article discusses the effect of magnetic treatment of used oils of various compositions on their physicochemical properties for the purpose of further regeneration. The problem of utilization and regeneration of waste oil products and the ways of its solution are highlighted. The objects of research and methods that will be used for research are presented. An algorithm for studying the improvement of the physicochemical properties of waste oils by means of low-energy wave effects is described. The results of experimental studies and a possible mechanism of the ongoing processes are presented. It is shown that the effect of physical fields on waste oils leads to a change in the nature of the interaction of the components of the oil system and, as a consequence, to a change in operational properties.
