The article is dedicated to the painting of the Odessa artist Alexey Ilyushin. The aspects that influenced on the formation of the individual manner of the artis are considered. Accented with a weak level of scrutiny of his artistic lunguage. The place creative work by A. Ilyushin in the general character of Odessa non-conformism is emphasized. Particular attention is paid to the trends of artist's painting, formed in 1990s.
