The article presents an review of the main linguistic and psychological inter-pretations of the "anger" concept. Determine the main paradigms and the theoretical approaches to solving scientific and interpretative problems. Maine concepts are compared in the specific aspects. Suggested options for the further development of the topic. The interdisciplinary potential of the linguistic research of the concept of "anger" is established.
