The article is devoted to the substantiating methodical provision of strategic management of enterprise’s development processes as an integral part of its economic security, at the levels of functional strategies, economic potential and the whole system of the enterprise. The criteria for determining development type that take into account specifics of transport services and direction of the mechanism for development through the effective management of cost and structure of resources, management system, capabilities and competence were proposed.
