The article is devoted to the study of the formation of components of the personnel management system of a knowledge intensive enterprise, the advantages of using in novative methods for increasing the competencies of employees and the degree of involvement of specialists in solving problems modernization of production processes. Examples of knowledge-intensive enterprises and their activity is described,substantiated specific characteristics are stated in relation to the content and content of the enterprise's motivational system.
