The article focuses on the problem of value-motivational aspects of student career development. The theoretical approaches to psychological peculiarities of career designing at the student's age are analyzed. The idea of self-realization as an indicator of formation of career orientations of future psychologists is considered. The necessity of psychological and organizational support of a student's youth career is discussed.
