The moratorium on the sale of agricultural land is described. The violation of the constitutional right to private property was substantiated by the introduction of a moratorium. The principles of legal regulation of the land market in the Netherlands are generalized. A comparative legal analysis of the development of proposals for the acquisition of positive experience in the regulation of the agricultural land market withthe possibility of their implementation in the Ukrainian legislation has been carried out.
