Mineral emas letakan di perairan Bayah dijumpai dalam sedimen dasar laut perairan, pantai dan sungai. Emas letakan Bayah dari hasil analisis mineral butir terakumulasi pada sedimen pasir berukuran sangat halus (0,125 hingga 0,0625 mm). Hasil analisis mineral bijih, kandungan tinggi Au dan Ag berasosiasi dengan kandungan tinggi mineral magnetik. Dari kurva energi fluks gelombang sebagian pantai perairan Bayah memiliki kecenderungan akresi akibat proses sedimentasi aktif yang membawa emas letakan. Hasil penelitian diketahui kadar Au 0,4-1,8 ppm, Ag 6,8-7,8 ppm, Fe 38,54-48,64 % dan Cu 17-18 ppm. Sedangkan data bor dalam prospek emas letakan pada kedalaman bor 9-14 meter, mempunyai kadar antara 0,4-1,8 ppm.
Pendulangan yang dilakukan pada 13 lokasi sepanjang pantai Bayah mendapatkan hanya 3 lokasi nihil sehingga persentase keterdapatan emas letakan di daerah ini sementara adalah 76,9 %.

Gold placer mineral indications in Bayah waters are occurred in the seafloor, coastal and river sediments. Bayah gold placer is accumulated in a very fine sand sediment (0.125 up to 0.0625 mm). Results of ore mineral analyses, the high content of Au and Ag samples are associated with high content of magnetic minerals. The observation of wave flux energy curve, parts of Bayah Coast tends to accretion due to active sedimentation process that carrying gold placer. Research results, it is known that Au 0,4-1,8 ppm, Ag 6,8-7,8 ppm, Fe 38,54-48,64 % and Cu 17-18 ppm . While from deep borehole, gold placer prospects are between depths of 9-14 meters with the range of the contents between 0,4-1,8 ppm.
Gold panning carried out in 13 locations along Bayah beach found out only 3 empty gold locations; thus percentage of gold placer existences in this area temporarily 76.9 %.
