This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership and physical work environment on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. The sampling method used was saturated sampling technique, namely taking the sample as a whole or all members of the population used as the sample. Respondents in this study were employees of the IT Department of PT. Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk, amounting to 35 people. This study used descriptive and statistical analysis methods. The validity test, reliability test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedicity test, normality test, correlation test, coefficient of determination, t test, path analysis and single test were carried out. Testing in the t test shows that transformational leadership has no effect on work motivation of employees of the IT Department PT. Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk, the physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, transformational leadership has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, the physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance, work motivation cannot mediate between transformational leadership and employee performance, and work motivation can mediate between the physical work environment and employee performance.
