The use of parametric modeling and calculation tools to assess the insolation characteristics of architectural objects allows us to make a qualitative assessment of the degree of heating of the building exterior, which therefore accelerates the stage of the preliminary design of sun protection elements and clearly demonstrates their effectiveness. Rhino and grasshopper are convenient tools that can be used for this purpose. Using grasshopper plug-ins, we have a visually clear diagram that demonstrates the stability of the use of various additional facade solutions. Optimization and improvement of the exterior help to avoid energy loss, which contributes to savings and improves environmental friendliness, this allows architects to follow global trends in energy efficiency sustainability.
