This article is to analyse the possibility of the implementation of online National Examination. The analysis is specifically to identify initiatives taken for online national examination and factors influencing the successful implementation of UN online. Documentation and related publications were used for this analysis. The results showed that two iniatives related to UN online are in progress, namely Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) and UN online. The successful implementation of UN online depends on three factors, namely security, infrastructure and school readiness. It is recommended that the Government should initiate the implementation of UN online in stages and limited scopes by using the mapping of school availability for Information Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure.
