There’s a lot of news spreading around about sexual harassment in this current situation, this is happening because society has woken an awareness about the many forms of sexual harassment. Mass media should become the objective resource of information about sexual harassment news. In this research, Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald. M. Kosicki's framing theory became the instrument to reveal what’s laying behind news narration, including the ideology of one mass media and how they address the news in the writing process. A qualitative method has become the selected method for this research, at the end of the breakdown, there are the news framing differences between these two mass media, CNN Indonesia and Kompas.com. CNN Indonesia hasn’t validated the sexual harassment case that happened at KPI, meanwhile, Kompas.com curated valuable resources such as Komnas Perempuan to confirm that sexual harassment could happen to everyone despite their gender. This research purpose is to assist data about the construction in the writing process of the news, the way mass media conduct the story isn’t always unmodified.
