This article discusses issues of innovative technologies implementation in the context of updating the research training of preschool education specialists. The review of pedagogical and psychological literature, regulatory documents, domestic and foreign practice has been carried out. As a result of generalization of theoretical materials and their systematization, the ways, stages, tendencies of implementation of innovative technologies are determined. The results of a survey of the 2nd year students in “Pedagogy of preschool education and training” are presented in order to identify interest and motivation for the effective use of innovative technologies in practice.
