. The article is devoted to the features of communicative and ethnic tolerance of students of different ethnic groups in educational institutions in Nur-Sultan city. A review of theories related to the problem is made of tolerance.The types of tolerance are described, such as socio-psychological and ethnic.The phenomenon of social tolerance in the interaction of social groups of different ethnic groups entering the University is considered in detail. In order to identify the characteristics of ethnic tolerance of college and university students of NurSultan were conducted a questionnaire on communicative tolerance and an express survey “Tolerance Index”of V.V. Boyko. Due to special psychological experimental studies, the level of endurance of Student youth is determined by the characteristics of their interpersonal relationships in the group, as well as the ethnic tolerance of each student is linked to his/her personal endurance.
