Removal of CO is practically required for reducing air pollution and saving energy from boiler combustion processes. According to the survey results, high CO emissions during boiler operation process is directly related to the combustion mode: 80% all of fuel input are carried out manually, 80% all of boilers are operated by the experiences of workers – 20% of them has automatic operation mode or pre-set software; The manual operation of forced draft fan and induced draft fan with and without inverter leads to the unequal air distribution and inefficiency combustion which are the causes of high CO emission. In this study, based on the structure and operation of the existing boiler to reduce the CO emission during the operation of boiler, the proposed option is to adjust the combustion mode by adjusting the fan speed through installed inverter, adjusting operation mode and cleaning boiler, cleaning the flue gas treatment system... Research results showed that it is possible to reduce CO emissions by adjusting the combustion regime.
