The article analyzes existing analogues for the adaptive system of ecological monitoring during operational activities of the Frontier Service units. The analysis was done from the point of view of the functional scheme formation for assessing changes in the state of border natural and man-made geosystems using the methodology of the system approach. The problem is the maintenance of environmental security during a regional armed conflict. The purpose of the work is to carry out an analysis of possible analogues of the adaptive system of ecological monitoring. A structural and functional model of the mechanism for environmental safety regulation during emergency situations of military and technogenic nature is proposed. The novelty of the work lies in the complex application of methods, receptions, tools and instruments for environmental safety regulation.
