In the article by S. Geraskov «Religious and philosophical component of modern Ukrainian martial arts (on the example of Boyovy Spas)» it is conducted the analysis of religious and philosophical component of Boyovy Spas representing modern Ukrainian martial arts. It is shown that religious and philosophical ideas in Boyovy Spas have been understood mainly in the light of new religious and philosophical movements of non-Ukrainian origin. The author concludes that today there is a tendency of active and accelerated myth making in order to make modern Ukrainian martial arts older.
