Relevance of work. The article sheds light on the problem of definition of notions of "traditional" and "non-traditional" Christian religious systems for Ukraine, clarifies the essential signs of dichotomy in the life of Ukrainian Churches. There is an attempt to analyze the problem of separation of Christian religious systems on the basis of their value load and attitude towards Ukrainian as an axiological manifestation of the national one. those features of Christian religious systems that influence their assessment as "traditional" or "unconventional" are highlighted.The purpose of the paper is to attempt to identify traditional and non-traditional Christian religious systems in their denominational expression and to identify such grounds for division.One can name a number of modern scholars who are engaged in the study of religious-national value issues. These are S. Voznyak, M. Goryach, A. Kolodny, O. Sagan, D. Stepovik. L.Filipovich, P.Yarotsky and others.
