The article presents the results obtained by studying the effect of a single cigarette smoking in men of different ages on heart rate variability. We analyzed the parameters of heart rate variability of 40 men aged 18 to 45 years with different lengths of smoking using the FAZAGRAF® software and hardware complex. It was found that in men with little smoking years after a single smoking of a cigarette, a significant centralization of heart rhythm control, tension in regulatory mechanisms, and a decrease in the adaptive capabilities of cardiohemodynamics were noted. In male smokers with a smoking history of more than 15 years, an initial examination revealed a predominance of sympathetic tone of the autonomic nervous system. It is proposed to take into account the data obtained necessary for making a forecast of the development of cardiodynamic changes in smokers; when planning diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation measures.
