The paper considers peculiarities of mentoring of students who is studying according to programs of technical and vocational education as a technique of arranging individual educating process, passing social and cultural experience, professionally significant knowledge, skills. The authors argue a need in revision of types and methods of mentoring caused by a demand of adaptation of its components to current psychological and pedagogical conditions in the system of Russian technical and vocational education.
