The paper is dedicated to general issues of integration of historical and cultural heritage into spheres of domestic educational and recreational tourism in Altai region, outlines educative potential of scientific reconstruction and popularization of big routes of Russian and foreign Altai (Russia) explorers and travelers of the 18th – 19th centuries whose names are related with breakthroughs in regional ethnography, geology, botany, etc. among touristic service consumers.
