Correlation Of pH and Nitrate On Ditch Water With The Incident Of Dermatitis Disease On Workers At Oil Palm Plantation. Water is closely related to health to prevent the occurrence of waterborne diseases, it must meet the health requirements that set in the standards of clean water quality, namely Minister of Health Regulation No. 416 / Menkes / PER / IX / 1990. With the aim to find out whether there is a relationship of pH and nitrates in the ditch water with the incidence of dermatitis disease on workers at oil palm plantations PT. Kharisma Inti Usaha 4 Kabupaten Tapin. Including pH <3 and nitric acid content are corrosive chemicals and repeated exposure that can lead to dermatitis. The type of this research is analytical research with cross sectional approach. The populations are all the water of the ditches and all the workers at the palm oil plantation mess PT. Kharisma Inti Usaha 4 Kabupaten Tapin with sample of 18 points and 109 respondents. Results of ditch water quality pH 2.9-4.8 , all samples did not meet the requirements and the nitrate content of 0.056 mg / L - 0.661 mg / L all samples results met the requirements. Chi Square test results showed the pH variable obtained p value = 0.165. From these results there is no relationship of pH and nitrate in the ditch water with the incidence of dermatitis disease on workers an oil palm plantations PT. Kharisma Inti Usaha 4 Kabupaten Tapin. To obtain clean water that meets health requirements, it is important to note the quality of water with a high pH with lime sprinkling efforts, so that pH returns to neutral.
