Abstrak: The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of the Application of the Group Investigation Type Cooperative Learning Model to the learning outcomes of Grade VIII students on Employment Materials in SMP Negeri 1 Sekadau Hulu Academic Year 2015/2016 ?. There are two variables in this study, namely the cooperative learning model type investigation group as independent and learning outcomes as the dependent variable. This study uses quantitative methods of experimental research design with the design of True Experimental Design Pre-test form Post-test Control Group Design. Hypothesis test results show tcount> t table or 22.91 ˃ 2.001, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence on the application of the Group Investigation Type Cooperative Learning Model to the learning outcomes of Grade VIII students on Employment Materials.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Group Investigation Type Of Student Learning OutcomesAbstrak: Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII Pada Materi Ketenagakerjaan di SMP Negeri 1 Sekadau Hulu Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016?. Terdapat dua variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation sebagai independen dan hasil belajar sebagai variabel dependen.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif bentuk penelitian eksperimen dengan desain True Experimental Design bentuk Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design.Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan nilai thitung > ttabel atau 22,91 ˃ 2,001, sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII Pada Materi KetenagakerjaanKata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa
