Modern volleyball game needs to develop new skills; those new abilities are spatial orientation and balance skills. Our research focused on discovering and testing balance and spatial orientation skills of 25 volleyball players from ACS Alpha Sports Team Sibiu, aged 10.22 ± 2.49 years. Two tests were used as research methods with initial and final evaluation, the Matorin test and the spatial orientation test. The results showed improved results from the initial to the final tests in both tests; significant differences were found in comparing right and left direction jumps. Conclusions highlighted the importance of developing spatial orientation in young volleyball players.
