The authors present a study of the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of training results of personnel of industrial enterprises in the system of continuing education. It has been shown that the relevance of this issue is due to the priority socio-economic concept in the industrial production system – the “digital economy”. The authors point out conceptual provisions for solving this problem; methodological approaches; differentiated aspects of managerial competence of industrial industry specialists. Particular attention is paid to the importance of the self-education of specialists in their professional and personal formation. In order to develop methodology for the effectiveness of training results for industrial sector personnel, a set of measures has been designed.
