Raising a child as a creative person is very popular among parents nowadays. The article presents the experience of teachers in developing the creative potential of the personality of a child of preschool age. The authors have developed a methodology that allows, during art classes, to accurately diagnose the psychological problems of children and help cope with them. As a result of such work, there is a steady positive trend in the development of psycho-emotional stability of children regularly engaged in art activities.
