The article draws attention to the relevant for higher education issue of forming students’ meta-qualities, or soft skills, including communicative self-efficacy. The authors present a view on the process of development of future specialists’ communicative self-efficacy, based on an analysis of the structure of this phenomenon. The main attention is paid to the characteristics of the criteria, indicators and levels of formation of communicative self-efficacy.
