The article considers the application of the R-function theory tools for solving the inverse problem of analytical geometry. The method of analytical representation of complex form areas considered in modern optimization problems is described. Methodological recommendations on MathCad documents drafting are given, as well as the solution of specific examples illustrating the way of visualizing the picture of R-function level lines.
