Extended spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBL) in Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates have led to increased antibiotic resistance and mortality in patients. Therefore, the present study wasperformed to investigate the susceptibility and antibiotic resistance patterns of ESBL- producing K. pneumoniae strains isolated from patients referred to Zanjan hospitals.
