В статье рассматриваются публикации последних лет, посвящённые религиозному содержанию творчества И. С. Баха. Предпринята попытка проанализировать представление о Бахе как религиозном композиторе в свете феноменологического анализа музыка у русского религиозного философа А. Ф. Лосева. Рецензируется монография Д. Э. Гардинера «Музыка в Небесном Граде. Портрет Иоганна Себастиана Баха» и русские переводы текстов духовных произведений Баха. The article considers publications of recent years devoted to the religious content of the work of I. S. Bach. An attempt was made to analyze the idea of Bach as a religious composer in the light of the phenomenological analysis of music from the Russian religious philosopher A. F. Losev. The monograph by J. E. Gardiner "Music in the Heaven’s Castle. A portrait of Johann Sebastian Bach" and Russian translations of texts of Bach's spiritual works.
