The article outlines conceptual approaches to diagnosing the investment and financial potential of population savings as a key component of the region’s investment and financial potential. The structure of money incomes of the population and investment characteristics of savings of the population of the Krasnodar Territory in the context of the formation of strategic competitive priorities in the system of social and economic development of the territory are disclosed.
