The article provides a retrospective analysis of the works of scientists who influenced the formation of forensic methodology in jurisprudence. It is emphasized that manufacturing and migration have led to an increase in crime. The structural elements of the general provisions of the forensic methodology of investigation of certain types of crimes are analyzed. In order to improve and develop the theory of forensic algorithm for investigating crimes against sexual integrity, the author proposes to develop its concept, which will reflect the essence, scientific basis, order of formation and the most important aspects, which will serve as an excellent help in practice.
