
Organizational problems when appointing forensic video, audio analysis

the problems associated with the improper preparation of materials provided for the examination of video and audio recording, have been studied. The purpose of the article is to analyze the current problems that arise in the appointment of the examination of video, audio and identify ways to solve them. The materials of video, audio analysis, which are provided for examination, are analyzed; two main groups of such records are identified. The first group of records - records made by certain bodies as a result of their professional activities. The second group - records received by ordinary citizens. Considered what information from the investigated records is used by investigative bodies for what purposes. The objects of research, tasks that are solved in the examination of video, audio analysis are considered. The problematic issues that arise during the preparation of materials and appointment of video and audio examinations are analyzed; the ways of their solution are given, in particular, the recommendations on acquaintance with the available materials, preparation of «disputable» records for submission for research, sampling of voice and speech for expert research are given. The paper considers the following forms of samples of oral speech: monologue, dialogue, repetition and reading; peculiarities of obtaining them for solving certain problems. The requirements are given that are put forward to solve the problems of establishing technical conditions and technologies for obtaining video audio recording.
