The article describes the essence of marketing strategy and its main features. Researched and analyzed the opinion of domestic and foreign scientists on the concept of "marketing strategy". Defined the main tasks and elements of marketing strategy which are solved in the development process. Special attention is paid to the formation of marketing strategy of the enterprise. The main stages of developing a marketing strategy are identified, including monitoring the implementation and analysis of the effectiveness of the strategy.
