In the process of ESPs operation there often appear intense vibrations, leading to «a flight». For long-time operation of the unit used as a component of the drill string, it is desirable to keep it at rest. One way to accomplish this is to connect the unit with a damper that can reduce the fluctuations. The article considers the most optimal option of such connection, and the method of calculating the parameters enabling to significantly reduce the unit vibrations amplitude that will favorably influence the duration of its operation.
